Coffee People Zine
CPZ has been a home for my two greatest passions in life for many years; coffee and art. Having contributed to five or so of the now 24 issues, I was approached by the editor Kat Melheim in the summer of 2024 to design the cover for the upcomung issue of the zine. Following the theme “past,” and preceding the “future” themed edition was the “present” issue. My final design was an ode to the novelty of the first sip of coffee. For me, coffee has been a community that emnbraces the power of simple joys. I wanted to reflect the inherent nature coffee has of making its consumer stop to smell,
